In my real life studio I always have one of my display boxes filled with jewelry made from various fossils. Yhey fascinated me since I was a child. I seldom put them on the website - BUT this Ammonite which I made into a necklace early fall had some unique colours which came to play nicely within my design. Hope you enjoy.

Ammonite has been compressed under great pressure beneath the ground, which is what gives it its wonderful colors. Ammonite is said to radiate positive Earth energy, and to bring good luck and prosperity. An excellent as a tool for deep meditation. Ammonite is also used mystically for general good health, stamina and high energy. The colorful spiral coils of the ammonite are said to mimic the path that all the energy of the universe must travel and thus the fossil radiates its energy outward.
