" Amethyst Galaxy "

One needs to be a poet to describe this jeweled pendant containing many exotic stars and galaxies . . . a picture so similar to those the wondrous Hubble Telescope has beguiled us with for years.

First of all I will say the amethyst crystal galaxy on the pendant's left is a piece of Amethyst stalactite from Brazil. The Amethyst chips of solar wind flow about the shiny black Hemitite stars. An Amethyst planet hangs in lost in space "to the viewers right" . when you view the pendant close up below you to will be able to see the "galaxies" and stars in this beautiful slice of rock. Truly a slice of the heavens. When held up to the light sections of this pendant are translucent.

The earrings are made of smokey grey with copper lining seed beads, amethyst chips, and end with a wee hematite star. They are 2" long. The Pendant is 4" wide at the top and 2" long at the widest point.

Two sections of necklace; each 10" long attach to either side of the pendant. These are not identical for beads. Each has a wonderful mix of smokey grey with copper liner seed beads in 5 bead sections seperated with a tiny amethyst colour crystal. There are several hematite colour glass beads; plus one spectacular hand blown larger oval bead of smokey gray, black and copper bead...

The amethyst chips the large nugget and two rondelles are semi-precious stone, as are the components of the pendant.

The toggle clasp is gold plated.
