February 10, 2006 - Another Avison in the World! Theo

Just rec'd this email from Timothy in Moscow!

Just a quick note to announce the somewhat early arrival (at 35 weeks) of Theodore Michael Avison at 8:34 am Moscow time, 10 February 2006. He tipped the scales at 3.05 kg (6 lb 11 oz) and was 50 cm (19.7 inches) long (not bad for more than a month early). Both he and Diana are doing fine, although Theo will spend the first day or two in an incubator in the neonatal intensive care unit just to make sure everything continues as expected (standard OP for preemies, apparently). Diana is feeling good, and will be recuperating for about a week from the C-section, so we expect both to make a triumphant homecoming next Friday.

Imagine 8 grand children whose names start only with 3 letters of the alphabet - M - A - T weird.

As my brain fades I can fore see oodles of name errors.

We are truly blessed! so fortunate ;-)
