Moods of Lavender
The clean simple lines of this necklace make it wearable for almost any one.
The Bi is lavender jade with a touch of green. It is attached to an antique Afghani silver component, using macramé. I used lavender and gray threads. Each bead is spaced with macramé knotting, rather than a overhand knot. A lovely oval Chinese bead is used to pick up the rhythm of the afghani spacer beads on the opposite side.
As we come to the back of the necklace I changed to square knots again and use a half dome sterling clasp.
Necklace approx. 21.5" Jade 2" across and almost 3/8" thick.
